SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser is a non-irritating cream cleanser designed to purify the skin while diminishing feelings of discomfort. Designed for sensitive or traumatized skin, this non-irritating cleanser calms and soothes, as it removes excess oils and debris, leaving the skin feeling pure, fresh and comfortable.

It doesn't really foam or spread well. I have to use a lot for it to get all over my face. It doesn't dry out my face so thats good but it also doesn't really do much for me. I probably won't be purchasing it again.

I have pretty sensitive skin, so I'm always weary of trying new products but I really liked this one. It didn't leave my skin feeling tight or itchy like some products I've tried, and it takes off all makeup with no issue. Definitely one worth trying if you have skin like me!

Favorite Cleanser
This is my favorite cleanser of all time (and I've tried a few) because of the gentle formula, fresh scent, and way that it leaves my skin clean but moisturized. No stripping! It's the second part of my double cleansing routine, and I feel like my skin is balanced and soft after each use. The chic packaging and practical pump are added bonuses.

Not as gentle as I hoped
I bought this cleanser because it's advertised as super gentle. I really liked it at first, but after a week of using it I developed an allergic reaction to it! My skin got red, especially around my eyes and it felt like burning. I couldn't understand which Skinceuticals products could have done it, as I ordered a bunch, including eye cream. However upon reviewing the ingredients list I found that this cleanser contains citrus, like orange oil. I'm sensitive to citrus, as are a few people out there. It's an allergen. Why would this ingredient be included if it's supposed to be for sensitive skin? I have stopped using this cleanser and my allergy subsided. Very disappointed!

Great for post-treatment skin!
I have done laser treatments and acid peels, microdermabrasions, dermaplanning, and microneedling. Before and after I get a treatment done, I always switch to this cleanser because it doesn't strip my face or dry it out! Soothing - Good for redness
I have very sensitive skin and get a very red face after showering. This cleanser is more like a lotion and extremely gentle. I have seen the redness disappear over a few weeks use. The smell is nice and I dont feel any adverse reactions while its on my face. Down side is that it is so gentle, that I absolutely need to remove eye make up prior to showering if I want it to come off. I recommend to anyone with redness/rosacea like problems.

This cleanser is very gentle! I have very sensitive,oily acne prone skin,and this has helped a lot! The only problem is if you have makeup on it doesn't take all of it off,so I purchased the skinceuticals equalizing toner to get the rest of it off at night,and just use cleanser in morning. my skin was previously very irritated from acne medicine, and this took care of it. Would definitely buy again! Weather you are dry, or oily this is a great cleanser!
