Allergic Reaction
Bought this on a whim as I use and trust Skinceuticals. Reviews we're all good and I briefly looked over the ingredients to make sure there we're no parabens. However, it does include lavender oil and peppermint oil and my skin does not like those. My face was even more dry, breaking out in red bumps all over my face. As soon as I stopped using, it stated to clear up. If you're sensitive, maybe steer clear from this one.

Highly disappointed
Let me start by saying. I have never written a review on a skin care product. For someone who has extremely hypersensitive and acne prone skin, I had such high hopes for this brand. I purchased emollience a little over a month ago and absolutely loved the first container. I went through the entire thing in less than two weeks. It didn't appear to clog my pores and irritate my skin. It wasnt until I purchased my second jar of this moisturizer that I really began to experience problems. After all, it can take skin 6-8 weeks to determine if it likes a product or show the results of a product. On about my 5th week of using this product I began noticing my dry patches coming back. After a few days of noticing that I began to notice the severe irritation my skin is suffering after use. I credit the irritation to the unfathomable use of essential oils in the product. I was hesitant to use these products to begin with due to the brands decision to add in essential oils which can be known to cause irritation and or dermatitis. Why on earth would a clinical and medical grade skin care company include known irritants in their formulas? I have ingested a lot of money into trying this branded products and I'm highly disappointed. Would NOT recommend to anyone suffering from hypersensitivity or acne prone skin.

Skinceuticals Emollience is by far the best moisturizer I've found for my skin type. I have very fair combination skin leaning more towards dry (due to using Retinol and salicylic acid products) and a semi-oily t-zone. Prior to purchasing Emollience I used Skinceuticals Daily Moisturizer, but now my skin needs more hydration. It only takes a small amount, it absorbs quickly and my skin to stays hydrated all day! Love it!!!

Great product for anyone experience extreme flaking around the mouth and chin area. I used a Clinique product for many years, because I have sensitive skin and their products usually work well for me. However, their moisturizer wasn't cutting it, and I decided to try something else. I trust Skinceuticals products because they are fragrance-free and formulated to be gentle and effective, rather than trendy and punchy (keep your watermelon-scented jelly chemicals away from me!!!). This product worked extremely well, and it didn't break me out. A little goes a long way. I will repurchase over and over!

This moisturizer is great! I've been using it for about a year now. Keeps my dry skin hydrated and I swear it helps with my fine lines. I recently started incorporating their B5 gel at night before the moisturizer and wow, what a combo.
