Love Emollience!
I used to purchase SC Daily Moisture from Dermstore (also a great product). Then decided to mix it up and order something richer. Emollience is wonderful. It's thick & creamy. You only need a small amount to cover the entire face and neck. It is thick but is not heavy and it leaves the skin feeling soft, not greasy. I'm on my 3rd jar and don't foresee switching any time soon! My skin type is 'normal'. I use SC face washes and Retinol. I am a nurse who (in the current COVID situation) is wearing an N95 plus surgical mask in the OR all day. A lot of moisture accumulates in the mask throughout my 10 hr shifts & I feel the SC line has prevented clogged pores and breakouts from the sweaty mask!

Works with side effects
I really liked this product when I first received it, especially for the price compared to the Triple Lipid. However, I noticed that sometimes when I apply it I get a burning sensation. This happens especially after being in the sun, using retinol, or other acids on my skin. I read another review that said it has peppermint oil in it & I do think that may be the cause. Besides that, it does do a good job at moisturizing my dry skin. Since I am sensitive with rosacea, though, I will probably try something else so that my face doesn't feel like it's on fire after applying.

Perfect for dry skin
I have suffered from super dry skin for the past few years. Itching, redness, overall dryness and a ton of flaking. This is the BEST moisturizer I have ever used. It is so smooth when applying and not oily at all. Does not irritate my skin when applied. No redness and completely gets rid of all the flaking. I will never use another moisturizer again.

It is an OK moisturizer. Nothing special. It can feel greasy on your face at times. There is peppermint oil in it which does react with my sensitive skin and causes some redness. Everyone's skin is different!

Heals the skin
This face cream is amazing for dry, sensitive skin! I've had some stubborn eczema flare ups on my face that this product healed in a week!!! Never going back! It's almost too moisturizing (if you really have dry, sensitized skin you know nothing is too moisturizing). I've found that the Skinceuticals products are expensive but they are at least twice as concentrated as cheaper products. I only need to use a dime sized amount to cover my face, neck and decollete, while with a comparable cream it would take 2-3x as much product. I would not recommend this product for oily skin lol you will hate it.

Essential oils don't belong on your face. They will age you faster and are bad for sensitive skin. For the amount, it should be better
