Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Excellent for Maintenance
I had stopped using this for a while, but noticed my dark spots were reappearing. I've since resumed using it along with Phloretin CF and the spots are definitely lightening up. I think it's important to keep using this to maintain the results of long process of lightening dark spots.

I've used thus product for several years and have found it to be highly effective overtime.
I have found Discoloration Defense to be highly effective overtime. I saw discolored areas of my skin slowly become much lighter over a three month time period. That was after I found out that on my part, I had to be very consistent about applying it each and every each day so that It could work effectively for me. Already noticing results after almost 2 weeks
I’ve been using it twice a day and already noticing results. It terms of skin tone I do feel Its brighter and more even. However I’m yet to see a change on the color of the spots so I’ll continue using it and hopefully see a difference before summer starts!

Dark spot correction
As I get older ation spots on my face are becoming more noticeable. Making an effort to do what I can to make them less noticeable. I have been using this product pretty religiously for the past month. I do think my skin looks better. Time will tell just how effective, it may be. But so far so good.

Unsure if it’s doing anything
I think this does work, but it’s hard to be certain. I’ve been using it for 7 months and my discoloration from acne scars seems to be a bit better in that I think the discolorations takes less time to dissipate.
