Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Works for lighter spots
I used this product for a few months and noticed that some of the lighter spots on my face were improving. I use it in combination with CE Ferulic to help with my melasma and sun spots. I would recommend it!

Had such high hopes for this product and was eyeing it for such a long time for mostly acne scarring but obviously due to the hefty price I kept putting it off, after finally purchasing it and using it for such a long time I'm disappointed it honestly doesn't do anything and it was a total waste of money esp being so expensive.

Disappointed and now have a Rash
I was really excited to try this product I really thought it was going to work since it was so expensive but all it did was give me itchy skin and a few rashes & my skin is no where near being sensitive so I'm not sure why the turned out so awful for me it was also very sticky & that was something I didnt expect.

On the fence
I am on the fence about this one. I use it twice a day religiously: morning, 30 minutes after Obagi 20% C serum, and evening before retinol. It has been three months, and I think my face may be a little more even toned, but I have acne scars from my youth and post acne hyperpigmentation from the one large cystic pimples I tend to get once every couple of months to contend with. The one spot of post pimple pigmentation that arrived just as I started using this serum has faded, but it may just be the normal fading timeline and not related to the serum. I just ordered a new bottle since mine is on its last drops, so we will see how another 3 months goes.
