Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Good complement to existing skin routine
I have enjoyed this product so far and do not have any complaints. My only hesitation is that I use it in conjunction with the CE FERULIC by skinceuticals (which is my absolute favorite, and I've tried a lot of products!!) I took a hiatus from my preexisting skincare routine to take part in a product trial. After a month, I was ready to return to my old ways (the product trial did not work well for me.) I returned to my existing routine which included the CE FERULIC, in which I decided to try a new addition, the discoloration defense. So far, my skin is looking great but I'm not sure if it is only due to the CE Ferulic or both in combination.

Good for sensitive skin!
I have sensitive skin and I have not had any reaction. This definitely has evened out my skin tone well in the week or so that I've been using it. Would give a full 5 stars if positive results continue over this month!

Consistency is Key
I've definitely seen this improve the appearance of dark spots and discoloration over time. That being said, it's not a quick fix. As others have stated, consistency is key! I really notice it's impact with acne scarring. The redness and marks seem to fade away much quick than they have in the past.

Discoloration defense
Just started using it a week ago so haven't been able to see any noticeable difference but spots aren't any darker and I've been in the sun 4-5 days in a row.

Can see the difference
This is the second order of this product. I've tried so many others, but this one has diminishes dark marks on my face from the sun. Will keep it up, and it lasts a decent amount of time as well.

Best product
I love this product a lot. It helps my skin reduce the dark spot and less redness. SkinCeuticals can't go wrong in my eyes. The Discolouration defense is probably my favourite product from Skinceutical. The best hydrating serum and amazing to use flying/after flying. The mask of the same name is also great! My skin was a lot different to my skin in a cooler climate. I really just love this hydrating serum and it was absolutely what I needed in the hot weather. It wasn't heavy and I used it AM and PM as a moisturiser. Highly highly highly recommend this product for evryone

great ingredients
this discoloration serum is thin like water and applies very easily. it is unscented. it leaves a very slight sheen on your face, and is a touch sticky. it is not greasy or oily. there is no irritation or stinging with this product. it really has terrific ingredients for discoloration, not too many fillers and great name recognition.
