Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Easy to Use
I like this product because it is easy to apply, dries quickly and works well with the other products my dermatologist recommends for my sensitive skin. I put it on and within a minute am able to apply my SkinCeuticals 2.4.2 Moisture Cream (the one with peptides), and top it off with JOURNÉE Revitalizing Day Cream SPF 30. The lightening is gradual, but I prefer using this product over using harsher treatments. The smell is very light/neutral, also good for me because I cannot use strongly-perfumed products.

I have been using this product daily for about a year and can tell a huge improvement in my skin. Prior to using this I had very noticeable brown spots particularly on my left side (since that's the drivers side when I'm in my car). I started using it as part of the brighting system then over time added more products in as I saw changes in my skin. I still have some hypermigmentation / melasma on my forehead even after some clear and brilliant treatments. It's the melasma that never goes away. I use this just to help combat some of the discoloration still there and to not get any more when I'm out in the sun. Seeing some difference but not enough to WOW.
