Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

High Hopes
I bought this product when I was pregnant as you have to really stop using a lot of your other good skin care products due to pregnancy I feel like the supplies really well I won't say that I've had any amazing results from it but I will say that I feel like these products are more of a long game product you continue to use them and you to see the results and I typically get pretty significant melasma during my pregnancies and I did not notice any worsening of that while using this product

This works miracles on my brown spots that I have from pregnancy and sun damage. I use this with Lytera 2.0 and works just as good when I am cycled off of my Hydroquinone cream.

Great for oily skin
What I like about this serum is it isn’t hydrating at all so I can layer it under tretinoin at night. It also disappears completely so it’s great for daytime use as it doesn’t make sunscreen pill up. Ive only been using it for a month so can’t say whether it makes a difference in pigment issues but it is formulated in a manner that makes it effortless to incorporate into your skincare routine

Originally tried this as part of Best of Dermstore Problem Solution: Brightening Regimen and liked it enough to buy a full bottle. The dropper applicator makes it easy to control how much product is used. I've notice some of my lighter discoloration has disappeared after a week of use. The darker spots will take some time. The sample sizes lasted over a month so I think a full size bottle will give me plenty of time to decide if another bottle is worth it (I think it will be)

This product yielded no results. I used it faithfully per the instructions, however, an area of hyperpigmentation remained the same. I was very didappointed, as this product is quite expensive.
