Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Discoloration Defense
This is a great serum to brighten and keep brown spots at bay. I do have a few spots that haven't gone away, but this definitely lightens them. I love SkinCeuticals products.

More Than Just for Discoloration
I have been using the Discoloration Defense for about 2 1/2 weeks now, and I have actually noticed a subtle lightning of my dark spots. You do need to use it consistently and morning and night to get maximum benefits. Another thing I’ve noticed is my tone and clarity have improved too! That was a nice difference I wasn’t necessarily expecting!

I actually really love the product but Dermstore keeps on sending me older products which have turned color, that makes it not as powerful as it should be. With that said I contacted Dermstore n they were very very helpf n fingers crossed that I do get a new one from them!
