Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Did not notice a difference
I wanted to love this product, as I'm a big SkinCeuticals fan. Unfortunately, I noticed no difference despite using this product consistently for months. I specifically purchased this to fade dark spots and did not see a difference at all.

It takes time
This product does work in fading hyperpigmentation but it takes consistency and time. I used it every day for over a year and finally see my dark spots getting much lighter. You have to have realistic expectations with any skincare product that doesn’t require a RX. It can’t reverse the signs of anything, won’t show results within 2 weeks and cant work miracles but it can improve the condition of your skin and make it look better

Lighten scars

I bought this along with the Phloretin CF from Skinceuticals in order to lighten some dark spots on my face. The reviews for this product are glowing so I am very hopeful!
