Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Effective
I'm 53 years of age and this worked on my very stubborn dark spots. In conjunction with consistently using the physical sunblock, I'm very happy with the results. Give it some time, for me about three weeks, and it will work wonders.

Waste of money

Waste of Money - No Difference Whatsoever
My dermatologist recommended this product for me, advising me to put it on after my Retin-A at night. This was supposed to help lighten dark spots that have appeared on my face over the years (I'm in my mid 50s). She didn't know why it should work, but had heard anecdotally that it should. I followed her instructions and used it for months. No difference whatsoever. No improvement. Just a ton of wasted money. Would not recommend.

Significant difference
This product truly works. I have many acne scars on my cheeks which have over time darkened significantly. As I started using this, I’ve noticed a total difference in not only the color of the dark marks but also the size of them on my cheeks.
