Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Disappointed
Received the serum and it was dark brown in color. Initially I thought that it was normal, and continued to use it . Now I am noticing that my facial skin is at least 2 shades darker than my chest, like I have been in the sun and tanned. I wear spf 46 everyday, even while I am indoors. Very disappointed with the quality control. Who knows how long this has been on the shelf.

Defective product
I have been using SkinCeuticals for years and have always been satisfied with the products. I order from both Dermstore and directly from SkinCeuticals. I recently purchased Discoloration Defense from the Dermstore and to my surprise the serum was already orange. Usually, the serum products like C Feuric begin a light clear yellow and then overtime they become orange. I feel the product may have been previously opened or ??? I am very disappointed
