Too drying for mature skin
I was previously using the Naturopathica cream cleanser but thought it wasn't cleaning my skin as well as I would like, so I switched to the SkinCeuticals Clarifying Exfoliating Cleanser. At first it felt great, leaving my skin "squeaky clean" - but after a few days my skin began to dry out dramatically, eventually becoming rough and irritated. I had to treat it with cortisone cream to get the inflammation to go down. I will definitely not be using this product again. I'm sure it's perfect for younger, more oily skin - but not for my 63-year-old face.

Pretty Awesome
I have tried millions of face creams for my acne and this one works pretty well! If I have large white heads or deep crater zits they usually clear up or are 90% cleared up after 1 washing/overnight with this product. It is a little expensive but well worth the money!

Great exfoliating cleanser
I use this cleanser a couple times a week to exfoliate and I feel like it's really effective in clarifying my skin. I also don't think it dries out my skin too much

It is different, it does smell bad, but it works!
Yes, I agree with everyone else: it did change, and it does smell kind of weird. But why is that suppose to matter if it works? With me personally, it helps my scars, as well as new & future blemishes. What I also do, is use a benzoyl peroxide cleanser after this (twice a day) to guarantee an acne free face, so for the people who want even better results, I recommend you to do this as well (and of course make sure to top it off with a moisturizer everytime, and use a facial scrub every 3-4 days).

Smells Off and Inconsistent Across Batches
I really like this cleanser, but the product in my most recently purchased bottle smells totally OFF. I don't quite know how to describe the smell (rancid?), but it definitely does not have its usual scent, despite there being no reformulation since my last purchase. Needless to say, this is extremely off-putting, and I'm kind of concerned about what, exactly, went wrong.
