SkinCeuticals Clarifying Clay Mask uses natural earth clays and botanicals to unclog pores, remove impurities and balance oil production. Plant extracts and minerals calm, soothe and nourish skin as a 2% fruit acid blend sloughs away dead, dull skin cells. Kaolin and bentonite clays absorb excess oil and shine to leave your complexion smooth, pure and healthy.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Mixed Fruit Extracts (Malic, Lactic, Tartaric, Citric, and Glycolic Acids): work synergistically to gently exfoliate dead skin cells
- Kaolin and Bentonite Clays: natural earth clays that help clarify the skin, absorb excess oil and reduce shine

Clay mask fan
I like clay masks-they work really well for my oily skin, and the texture has something decadent about it that I enjoy. I've given this mask 4/5 stars because I think it's a little more expensive than other comparable masks. It does not come with one of those tiny plastic spatulas to help put it on; this of course may be a good thing, to reduce waste, but I thought I'd mention it for anyone who's used to their clay pots coming with a little implement. Also, if you have sensitive skin and use another product with acids or a retinol, be careful to take this off rather promptly.

Most Balanced Detox Mask
I have used so many detox/clarifying masks in the past and they almost always over dry my skin and lead to additional breakouts or red patches, this is the exact opposite. It's very strong when it dries which made me nervous at first, but after washing it off I was surprised to see how my skin was still soft and had a decent amount of moisture left.
