protect against oxidative stress
I only use this in the morning to protect against oxidative stress. It seems to have brightened up my skin. However I'm using other products simultaneously so I can't say it's 100% contributed to this product.

Staple in my Skincare Routine!
As a 30-something, I added this product to my morning skincare routine after reading about the importance of a Vitamin C serum. Over the past six months, I've noticed major benefits to my skin - the texture feels smoother, my skin tone is more even, and my complexion has a glow to it. I also used to have one or two cystic acne appear with my hormonal shifts, but since using this serum, I have not had any! CE Ferulic has now become a staple in my skincare routine! My only complaint is that although I still had about 1/4 left of the bottle, it had significantly oxidized to an orange color in 6 months, to the point it was making my face appear tan upon application, so I had to discard it ($$$). With my second order, I have actually split the bottle in half, and I keep the unused portion in the box in the fridge to hopefully prolong its stability.

Interesting Smell
I'm not sure that I would purchase this serum again. I see about the same progress in my acne scarring as I did with inexpensive Vitamin C serums . I like that this product does not irritate my skin, and it did show some progress in fading my acne scars. However, the HONESTLY true hot dog smell plus the price tag and the non-substantial results makes me think I won't be repurchasing this item. Although, I wouldn't repurchase I would still recommend this to someone who may have more sensitive skin and can't use those harsh vitamin C serums

Good so far
Haven't been using it long enough to notice fading of dark spots or fine lines but I have noticed an overall brighter appearance. It also hasn't made my skin breakout and absorbs easily. It does make my skin slightly oily though.

The most important skincare product
This is an amazing serum. I have already finished up one bottle and am on my second one. The serum really lightened up my sunspots, and my skin is smoother with less prominent fine lines. Because of the high price, I tried to find dupes for this, but none had the same amazing effects as this. I know this is the one product that I will continue to buy and use.

Not my favorite
I have very sensitive skin and I found that this product caused little bumps to surface on my forehead. I tried to keep using it for a couple weeks to see if the bumps would go away, but they stayed. The smell is also hard to stand and stays with you. It also left my skin sticky, making it hard to apply make-up after use.

breaks forehead out
Unfortunately, this broke me out. I tried using it off and on for a year, but every time I would end up with deep acne on my forehead after a few days. Only a few bumps, but deep ones that would later leave scars. I have tried other Vitamin C (ascorbic acid ones like this with optimal ph levels) throughout the past year too, and some have broken me out less, but overall it seems that Vitamin C is the culprit for me, not Skinceuticals necessarily. I've seen other reviews say similar things. Perhaps if you really want to use it, but your forehead breaks out from it like seems to be common, you could avoid that area.

Wanted to love
I wanted to love this but didn't feel like the price was worth the outcome. I ended up giving it to my mom who loves it and has since repurchased.

Great for most - not a fit for my skin
Everyone I have talked to who has tried this product raves about it, so I was excited to try it out, but it didn't deliver the same results for me. I have seborrheic dermatitis, so perhaps it's just too much for my sensitive / easily irritated skin, but I found it to be drying. I ended up giving this to my sister in law, who absolutely loves it, so I think it's a great product for most people, just not for all folks with underlying skin issues.
