What is this smell???
I recieved this as a sample and I was STOKED because I love all things skinceuticals. It dries quickly and it didn't take long to see my skin clear up and get significantly brighter, but the smell is absolutely awful. I thought I'd get use to it, but it lingers all day long and I just couldn't handle the wet-dog like smell (that's not the best description of it, but that's the only way I can figure out how to describe it). Also sad that it oxidizes on my skin with or without makeup. Between the oxidation, smell and price, I won't continue using it.

long term commitment to your skin
There is a reason this vitamin C formulation is expensive- because to be stable and actually work, it is expensive to produce compared to the drug store vitamin C formulations that do not actually deliver an active ingredient to the skin. It is not a magic cream for overnight results but is part of the trifecta of skin youth: religious SPF and sun avoidance, a retinoid, and vitamin C. I do like this product.. Don't like the smell, wish it was better but I have noticed a difference in my skin in just a month. It's very expensive but you don't have to use alot. Skin Ceuticals really makes amazing skin products.

No significant results
Found it quite irritating and although I religiously used the entire bottle, I found no significant results. Clinique VC serum has much more effects on me than this expensive one! I am not sure whether I'll repurchase. I am also not happy with its packaging. Charging this high price it should have come with a pump or a package like Drunk Elephant VC serum, not this dropper!

My Favorite Vit C
It's crazy expensive but totally worth it especially if you're battling PIH or any dark spots. I store mine in the fridge to prevent it from oxidizing as fast. Wish for the price of the product that it would come in a pump bottle though. I'd be so upset if I accidentally spilled the bottle

Worth the hype
Yes, the scent is a little strange, but this vitamin C serum is very nice. Absorbs quickly, layers well, and my skin loves it. I've tried other C serums, but this combo of C, E and Ferulic Acid is pure gold.

This stuff works
I haven't been using the serum for very long, maybe 2 weeks. But already I notice a difference. Before I run errands I always look in the mirror and then feel the need to use concealer and powder and some blush before I leave the house. After using this daily for 2 weeks, now I look in the mirror and I feel like I can skip the makeup before leaving the house. It's hard to really put my finger on what it is, but it just makes your skin look better. One thing that does stand out to me is that after I use this my skin glows - like when you spend a little time in the sun and you get flushed on your high cheeks and nose. And it isn't like when your skin is irritated and gets pink all over, it's more like that healthy rosy look you get from working out. The cons are that it's expensive and smells like hot dog water, but for how well it works, it's so worth it.
