Couldn't get past the smell.
Had real high hopes for this products. It was referred to me by my derm office. It smells like hot dog water and the texture is quite sticky so it takes a little bit to soak in. With the high price point, other reviews saying they never get through a whole bottle without oxidation occurring and the above issues i have had, sad to say I am returning the product.

I've been using this product for about a week. So far, I like the way it feels after I apply and the feel/look of my skin has improved slightly in a short amount of time. I will continue to use and hopefully, after long-term use, I will show more improvement. I see people complaining about the scent (which is not strong). Most highly effective skincare products don't worry about adding fragrance just for the sake of it...this is a good thing. Same goes for the aesthetics of the packaging.

A Long-time Favorite
I'm in my early seventies. I've used this product for years. It was recommended by my aesthetician, who also had a degree in histology (the study of the microscopic structure of tissues). It's one of the products in the original SkinCeuticals line, and it's terrific. I use it daily, in the morning, before applying any other products. It goes on smoothly, and it takes relatively little to cover the face and neck. I store the bottle in the refrigerator and refill a smaller bottle from it.

A little goes a long way
My favorite thing is how little of this is needed to cover my face. I touch the dropper to the places on my forehead and cheeks where I need help with melasma, and smooth it from there to the rest of my face. The first time I did this there was tingling and redness, but less so as I continue to use it. It's been about two weeks and I haven't seen a difference yet, but I am trying to stay consistent with daily use in the morning. I wait a few minutes and then apply sunscreen on my face for the day.

I was suggested C E Ferulic by my dermatologist, but initially I was a little scared off by the price. So when I saw dermstore offered a travel size sample as a promo I jumped on it. It was critical for me to try out for a week or two in order to invest 100 plus dollars. To my surprise C E Ferulic was fantastic. First, I was shocked its a liquid/oil that didn't make me break out. That's been my biggest issues with oils in the past. Second, it actually seemed to take redness away from existing acne I had. Finally, it made some of my pores less noticeable. I honestly can't say it was EVERY pore, or that it shrunk pores (maybe made skin tighter, can't say for sure) but I was impressed it was visibly improving my skins overall appearance. With the critical ability to low budget try before you buy, I was ready to invest in the whole bottle baby. My only negatives are the cost and there is a faint funny smell when you first apply. This is apart of a layer process for me, so as soon as I put my moisturizer on after I can't smell it. Honestly for me its a small price to pay for its results. Would definitely recommend to others.
