My holy grail but takes some getting used to

I am 30 and I have acne-prone, sensitive skin. It used to be oily-combination before but after accutane and age (obviously), my skin is now dry combination. I was first introduced to CE Ferulic by my dermatologist years ago. I used it and I knew it was good for my skin but because it was so expensive, I kept trying other less expensive serums. BUT, I am back to CE Ferulic and don't plan to ever go away from it. It does give me whiteheads sometimes. But for a long time, my skin has not been used to tolerating such potent vitamins. It will probably take some getting used to. Currently, I am using it every other night and alternating it with retexturing activator.

This smells like an old ham! At first, I thought it wasn't a fresh product, but both the box and bottle were sealed. My face feels so tight after using just twice. I'm not wearing makeup today and wonder what I keep smelling? It's THIS! Sadly, this will have to be returned.
