Good but not great Vitamin C
Here’s the good part: I have ultra-sensitive skin, and this did not irritate my skin AT ALL. That alone makes this product worthwhile for me. Vitamin C serums that don’t irritate sensitive skin are rare. Also important for the sensitive to know: have a medicine-y smell, but it’s not heavy. On the less-good side, this product leaves the skin darned sticky, and sticky for up to an hour. Using the Hydrating B- Gel over it helps a lot with that, I find. Overall: I’ve used this for several months, and I can’t say that it’s made much of a difference in skin brightness or clarity — except, interestingly, under my chin. I still have fairly consistent breakouts (in my 50s!), but the rest of my face looks good. So I will be trying something else after this bottle runs out. Since others have brought up (entirely legitimate) cost concerns, though, let me add that a little of this goes such a long way that several months of constant morning use has still left me with more than a quarter of a bottle!
