C + AHA from SkinCeuticals is an antioxidant-rich treatment that works to diminish and prevent visible signs of aging. A 15% concentration of L-ascorbic acid works to prevent UVA and UVB damage while boosting collagen production. A 10% blend of hydroxy acids sloughs away dead, dull skin cells and diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, revealing smoother, brighter and suppler skin. With regular use, the skin takes on a healthier and more youthful appearance.

Great for acne-prone skin
I ordered this after reading great reviews from other people suffering from acne. I've been using this for about 6 months now twice a day, and my skin redness and cystic acne is gone! I get the occasional pimple (especially around that time of the month) but they're very superficial now instead of the deep painful ones, and flare down within a day. I use this with the skinceuticals toner from the acne kit, and some oil free moisturizer. The product is a bit sticky, but if you let it dry for about 10-15mins and then apply moisturizer, it'll feel like you didn't put anything on. The product does tingle a bit initially, but it goes away after a minute or two. Works well under makeup and the bottle, while expensive, lasts for months!

C + AHA = Smooth as Glass Skin
I have been using CE Ferulic for about a year on my face, decollette, and hands...and will never stop. However, I wanted to incorporate glycolic back into my routine and thought this would be a great product to rotate. I still use the CE Ferulic under/around my eyes every night, before the A.G.E Eye, and any crepiness is now gone. Pros with C+AHA: My skin is even smoother the next morning and under makeup the next day (must be the glycolic). Cons: It is a little sticky and I can feel a slight tingle that I don't feel with the CE Ferulic, so using it on my decollette at night is a little uncomfortable and I would definitely not use this around the eye area. The scent doesn't bother me, but I do warn my bf when I have applied it at night - just so he doesn't think I naturally smell like "hot dog water" as other reviewers have mentioned.

My favorite product
I was using the SkinCeuticals Adult acne system but it wasn't working for me. Based on reviews, I switched to this product and I am so happy I did. It works! My skin is so much clearer. I still get the occasional white head but I haven't experienced the deep cystic acne that started to plague me in my late 20's. I use this in combination with the Dark Spot Corrector every morning, and I use Retinol 1.0 once or twice a week and I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my overall skin tone. I had to experiment with some of the other SkinCeutical products but this is the overall winner. I highly highly recommend this product.

So I have started using vitamin C in my skin routine and I have to say that I am glad I did. My acne scars heal faster and my skin is smoother in texture. I do use the Blemish and age defense with this and it has kept my acne away. I have used the CE and think the C+AHA is comparable to it and it is cheaper.
