SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne
- 3.5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Citric Acid: these alpha-hydroxy acids work synergistically to smooth skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Great Serum for Blemishes
I have adult hormonal acne and feel like this serum in addition to my prescription topical treatments have calmed my acne. I don’t notice any significant difference with it treating fine lines but I purchased it mainly for the blemish/skin texture aspect and not age defense. SkinCeuticals Blemish & Age Defense is worth every penny. Plus a little goes a long way. I am 47 years old and have acne on my chin. It pretty much is gone when I use this product.
