SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne

miracle in a bottle

It is a bit pricey BUT so worth every drop. It really does keep breakouts away, and possibly reduce wrinkles, although I don't have that many yet. It goes on very light, I only apply at night because it can be drying if you apply twice a day. Keep in mind to only apply a little bit, if you apply a lot your face will become extremely dry and you will breakout.

The product is very effective at keeping both breakouts and fine lines/wrinkles at bay. I have not noticed a tremendous amount of wrinkle recovery, but it has kept my 26 year old breakout prone face in the clear.

Keeps Acne Under Control
I have been using this product for a few months now. I like the combination of salicylic acid + glycolic acid. Glycolic acid works wonders on my difficult acne-prone skin! I also love the texture! It's not too sticky, has minimal odor, and it absorbs pretty well. It isn't a miracle worker, but it does keep my acne under control.

My best acne fighting product!
I love how effective this product is. It works, it's not too harsh on my sensitive skin, and it makes my skin softer too. My only complaint is that I have to skip using it every so often when my skin is on the dryer side or is more sensitive. Also, once in a while when my skin is in its sensitive mode it burns a little temporarily.

This is very strong stuff
This stuff definitely works in controlling occasional breakouts. I would recommend using moisturizer before applying this to your face because it can cause skin to become extremely dry. I notice when I use moisturizer with it that helped with the dryness. Overall though a really good product to use. Depending on your skin you can use it once or twice or as often as needed. It's best to use at night so your skin can really absorb it without being interrupted by air and pollution.
