SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne

Good for adult acne
Works pretty good on adult acne. Not much help for wrinkles though. Does not dry out skin. Overall I like to use occasionally.

Wonderful acne serum
I'm in my mid 30's and still battle with cystic acne. My esthetician gave me a sample of this for my acne, and it does wonders! I use it at night and it seems to dry any active acne up overnight. It's also non-irritating and has helped fade acne marks. I wish it weren't so pricey, but it's well worth the cost.

Great for teens too - perhaps different packaging for easier use?
I purchased this for my own acne and my teen/tween daughters have taken it over. It works well for their young skin. They typically use it for spot treatment but even when they use it on a larger area, it does not dry out their whole face. It works well to dry up little pimples without being so harsh. My only wish for this is a different package.... they have each knocked it over a couple of times and I about puke over the $$$ that is smeared across the counter in the spill. Childproofing??

Best serum for mixed type skin
If you have both sensitive skin prone to break outs that is also aging, this is the best product out there. Moisturizes without leaving skin greasy or clogging pores, keeps skin plump and youthful while also clearing imperfections. Someone asked me if I'd had botox!!! (no!)
