SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.

- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface

SkinCeuticals strikes again!
I received this in the adult acne kit and the first time I tried it, my skin instantly felt like it was on fire. I have VERY sensitive, dry, acne prone skin, but I knew from using their retinol that my skin would eventually get used to it. Results were almost instant, the texture of my skin had completely changed once it set into my skin. It was so smooth and didn't feel over drying even with the LHA toner and retinol. It didn't take long for my skin to get used to this product and I no longer get hormonal breakouts. I love that it doesn't drip everywhere when I apply it and I noticed it works even better if I steam my skin prior to application. I can't go without this product!!!

ONE OF MY MUST HAVES!
So I was skeptical because I have tried other salicylic acid products and thought they were okay but nothing miraculous about them until I found this one. I don't know if it is the combination with the C+AHA I am using with it but it has kept my pimples away. I used to get hormonal cystic acne and they are no more. I will definitely buy again and do recommend. I will have to say, if you face is dry and peeling, this will burn for a little bit but it goes away. The texture is tacky and easy to apply.

i was given this product years ago for free and i've repurchased it multiple times. if you have combination skin and it responds well to salicylic acid, this is a GREAT product. i use it at night when my skin is congested or i have a breakout under moisturizer and my skin always looks better in the morning, breakouts subside and it doesn't result in dryness. i also use the skinceuticals vitamin c but tbh i think the benefits of this product are more obvious to me. i also use drunk elephant glycolic and good genes but always end up coming back to this. the one complaint i have abt this is sometimes the dropper tears so keep the other lid it comes w otherwise the product evaporates.

I have had really bad acne ever since i was about 14 years old... fast forward 6 years, it still has not gone away and i feel like i have tried everything so i thought i would give this product a go. I do not think it worked for me. my acne definitely did not get better and if anything it got worse and i have been using it for two months.
