SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.

This product is a game changer for me. I struggle with adult acne and hormonal acne-this little potent bottle tackles both. The stuff really works-it SUCKS to have acne AND wrinkles, but here we are. I'm no chemist...I don't know why serums seem to be more effective than creams. It's true though. It really keeps breakouts under control. I know $91 is a lot of clams, but he stuff works and it leaves skin feeling hydrated, not dried out. Try it. You'll like it.

Love the product... disappointed in Dermstore shipping
First off, I love this product and it really helps clear my adult acne. My dermatologist usually cares this line but was .out of this particular product so I thought well I'll order online. I must say I'm very disappointed in DermStore's rowboat FREE Shipping. Yes, I live alllll the way over the Pacific Ocean on the Island of Hawaii but for it to take over 14 days to arrive is unacceptable. I purchased on January 9th, shipped on a rowboat on January 10, it now January 23 and it not due to arrive until the 25th!! Really that is absolutely ridiculous!! If I had known it would take this long I would have paid the extra money to get here in a timely manner. My skin really needs this serum and now going without for this length of time my skin is suffering with blemishes. Not happy.

Saving Grace
I've been using this for about 2 full years ever since my esthetician sold me it. It lasts about 3 months for me by using it 2x Daily. It smells a little alcoholy and the little burn it gives leaves me feeling cleaned. I use after I wash and before I moisturize. It clears small acne but certain things aren't cured by this such as black heads and hormonal breakouts. I realize I need to give my skin a break when it's getting red and not bright anymore. Too much acid can hurt so you need to know how much your skin can tolerate.

I have oily skin, large clogged pores, acne scars, hormonal cystic acne, and now at 30 I am starting to get fine lines around my eyes and mouth. I started using this in the hopes that it would help with all of the above! My esthetician calls this product "liquid gold". It does seem to make a big difference in keeping non-cystic blemishes at bay, and while using this my fine lines seemed to freeze where they were- my skin hasn't aged a bit in the year or so that I've used this, which is quite lovely! As far as my oily skin, clogged pores, and hormonal cystic acne, I wasn't getting the results that I wanted from this (I use this twice a day). So, I added Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Peel to my routine. The combination of these two have made all of the difference in the world! My pores are cleaner and smaller and my blemishes heal in a matter of days (it used to take weeks or months). I do really like this, but I am going to try Acid Fix by Omorovicza next and compare the results as the reviews on that have been extremely high.
