SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface

Great for adult acne
I'm 42 and used to have hormonal acne that comes with my period and leaves dark spots that lasts for a long time. I started using the blemish and age defense and within 3 days after I use it my acne got smaller and smaller, healed faster and the next period came with probably 1-2 acne showing up, considerably smaller in size if anything showing up at all. Im on my 2nd bottle and I can tell my skin is clearer and smoother. I only use it one a day usually at night and I still get results.

Can't Tell if it's Working
I've been using it for about two weeks and before I started using it I didn't have a break out. Now I have a few new zits that have popped up so I'm not entirely sure if it's causing the breakout. I also can't tell if it's actually doing anything either and it may be too soon to tell.

I have always had combination skin, greasy red-zone with recurring acne on my cheeks, chin, and temples. I had large pores and blackheads as a result.
