SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.

- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne

I began getting regular facials and seeing an esthetician 5 months ago. I haven't had a single breakout on my forehead, nose, or cheeks since I started using this! Still occasional hormonal acne on my jawline but overall the results have been incredible! I love this product and have repurchased it over and over again now! It's pricey but spreads very well so a little goes a long way! I'd rather just use this and get results than spend less on tons of other products that weren't working for me, ya know?

So far so good! I have been having really bad break outs along my chin and jaw area. I started out with once a day for about a week and now at twice a day. It is very drying so make sure you have a good hyaluronic serum to re-hydrate your skin after its applied. My acne for the most part is GONE! Every day I looked forward to taking off my make up at night and waking up in the morning to see the improvements. Hoping it stays this way, but so far Im super impressed!

I don't get many pimples to begin with, but I bought this to continue to keep acne at bay and because it helps with hyper-pigmentation and wrinkles so it was a 3 in 1 combo. I've only been using for a few months and rely heavily on it after workouts to ensure no breakouts. The one thing I don't like is the scent. It smells like you are putting Vodka on your face. Skinceuticals are known for not having the best smelling serums, but they work so it's worth dealing with it. Because it's a serum, the product and smell absorb within a minute. Overall, another seemingly solid product from Skinceuticals!

I honestly haven't had this product long enough to feel to give a honest review regarding how great or how bad it actually holds up what all it claims! I'm enjoying the product so far though. The only complaint would be- if you have any opens places on your face- due to acne or recent popping of pimples, etc. then BEWARE! It will burn and sting like nothing I've ever encountered!!! So if buying to help speed up any kind of healing process.. I would not recommend buying this product for that purpose.
