SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne
- 3.5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Citric Acid: these alpha-hydroxy acids work synergistically to smooth skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

It's ok, I guess?
This is more of a gel, than a serum, that smells a very strong alcohol smell. I guess I had different expectations of this serum, so I am not entirely pleased with it. I've only been using it for 3 weeks and I do have peeling and red skin where I have applied it. Hasn't done anything for my complexion or pores yet-time will tell I suppose.

There is nothing worse than still having pimples in your 40s! I have combination skin that tends to be more oily in the hot humid Florida climate.
