A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.

Holy grail for blemishes

I get occasional breakouts and I use this at the first sign. It usually clears it up within a day. It even works well on cystic spots. It is strong so I only use it as a spot treatment.

One of my favorites in my SkinCeuticals Routine!

I first tried this when I received a sample of it last year, and just using it for a few weeks I could see a difference so I had to buy the full size. I don't use it everyday, but have incorporated it into my routine about 3 times a week, sometimes more often if I've recently broken out. I have very acne prone skin and large pores and it's definitely helped both.

A must have for 40-ish oily skin

I have oily skin but never had acne problems until I turned 40, and my issues were not hormonal. This serum can be used day or night. It's lightweight without any sheen and absorbs well. I use it at night during the winter, and daytime during the summer. Because it's pricey, I didn't replace my last empty bottle, and went without it for almost a year. When I finally bought a new bottle, the chronic bumps on my face disappeared within 3 days, And this absolutely helps smooth my skin. I continue to use it after blemishes are gone. This product performs as advertised. A great investment.

It's ok, I guess?

This is more of a gel, than a serum, that smells a very strong alcohol smell. I guess I had different expectations of this serum, so I am not entirely pleased with it. I've only been using it for 3 weeks and I do have peeling and red skin where I have applied it. Hasn't done anything for my complexion or pores yet-time will tell I suppose.
