A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.

Excellent for blemishes and skin congestion

I've been using this for 3-4 years now. I use it when I see a spot coming up, and I use around my nose and chin (prone to congestion and blackheads) when the weather heats up and my skin naturally produces more oils, which is not a great combination with the moisturizer/SPF/foundation that goes on top of it. Also use on my back for the occasional blemish.

I bought this as a spot treatment, expecting it to work the way many reviews said it did: on spots, to treat and dry them up. It did not work for me - I didn't see any results on individual hormonal breakouts at all. I used it for about four weeks before giving up. It's been a very expensive failure.

Very effective, worth the price

I get hormonal acne from time to time and have some scarring from past acne. I was worried this product might bleach out my skin (I have an olive complexion with a slight tan), but the reviews were good so I shot my shot. This product has been really effective in almost eliminating all my breakouts and giving a luminous effect that I've noted over time from using it. It handles both wrinkles and acne, which any women with hormonal acne in their 30s-40s could certainly appreciate. Not a huge fan of price but I do think it's worth the quality and it's effects. Also, a little goes a long way. You really don't need much at all, especially if you have other serums you use, because it'll go on very smooth. I didn't find the product drying, but my skin is used to glycolics and retinol, so I didn't have issues. If you do find it drying, not using it every day could help reduce that effect.
