A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.

2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum

Staple Serum

I have struggled with acne and blackheads since I was 13. Believe me when I tell you I have tried ... everything under the sun. There is no miracle solution, even though we all search and wish we find one. I have been using this serum for 2 years now and my skin has stayed smooth and mostly blemish free. I still get a couple time to time, but I regret not getting this serum when I run out. It's really pricey but honestly I love not having to wear makeup everyday. I'd de devastated if they stopped selling it.

Little goes a long way

Started off using it alone and noticed it does smooth skin, leaving it softer and helps heal acne quickly. I now use it as a spot treatment or all over on nights I don't use my retinol. Doesn't take much, so it will last a long time. Goes on easy and doesn't feel sticky or leave a film. Really like this product.

Won't ever go without it

I was lucky enough to get adult cystic acne starting in my thirties. I have tried everything, including from Proactive many years ago to Rx level medication and all of the $$$ top brands. Finally finally I have found something that works, which is the skinceuticals acne set of which this Blemish Age Defense is a part of. I've been using it for a year now and my skin has not looked this good since college (I'm 49). I highly recommend this for cystic and hormonal acne as well as the acne kit, where you can save a little on the three items.
