A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.

I have already seen a difference within a week.......it's not super drying and a few drops go along way! Would absolutely recommend for those who suffer from hormonal acne....it's a great product!

Love this serum for my acne

Ive always had bad skin since a teenager. I thought as I got older that my skin wouldn't break out as often but that was not the case until I found this serum that I use with a SkinCeuticals cleanser. It is gentle enough to not upset my sensitive skin but still effective enough to prevent acne. I use 1-2 drops morning and night. Although it is expensive you don't have to use much for it to work so it lasts a long time. I have been using this for a couple years now after it was recommended when I got a facial. I will continue to use this for a long time. Cant say good enough things about it. A little goes a long way.

Keeps my acne breakouts under control

I once thought this product wasn't doing much for me then I removed it from my routine after running out...within a few weeks, I began having breakouts that had all previously been under control. Another great skinceuticals product

I am a huge fan of skincueticals, I got started with the Vitamin C serums and have been collecting the other products ever since. I like to use this as a spot treatment and it works great! I don't apply it all over because it is very strong for my skin and it's too drying if I use too much. But as a spot treatment on top of my other products I love it!! Has kind of a sticky texture, but does absorb in.

Great BHA

I really like this acid. It has good ingredients that are noncomedogenic. It goes on smooth, dries fast, and can be used morning and night. It doesn't feel particularly drying, but definitely exfoliates when used regularly. I combined it with a prescription retinol and have not had issues. I do wish SC would put their products in pump form so they don't get exposed to air.

Might have worked well if it dried

I was really excited to try this product but when it came I was disappointed. It has .5% more salicylic acid than the acne gel I currently use so I really wanted to love it, but it took soooo long to dry on my face. After applying a thin layer as spot treatment about 30mins before bed I went to lay down after and it made me stick to the pillow. I'm sure it works but I just don't have that kind of time to wait for it to dry on my skin. Disappointed.
