SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne
- 3.5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Citric Acid: these alpha-hydroxy acids work synergistically to smooth skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

No Change
I don't have anything against this product. It is just pricey and for the price point I didn't notice any major changes in my breakouts. Will maybe revisit in the future and try for longer (more than one bottle)

Disappointing
For the price point and medical grade, I expected great things from this product. It also has really great ingredients and some people had awesome results. However, I was disappointed as this did not keep my break outs at bay. It may be better for someone who only sees occasional breakouts, versus someone who has stronger acne. I will not be repurchasing.

Worth the Coin
I've gone through an entire bottle of this and was admittedly sad when it ran out. This product does wonders for the texture of my skin. I apply it at night prior to moisturizer/retinol and the glow is immediate. It has a slight slick feel on the skin but far from greasy. When I wake up in the AM the glow is still there and the size of my pores are noticeably smaller than when I applied the product the night before. I will try the Retexturizing Activator in its place but will keep in mind that this is a SURE thing if that doesn't wow me. If you're on the fence and texture is real concern for you, get this. You'll be glad you did.

Has a slight alcohol smell, and is a little drying. It seems to help with my breakouts and helping to dry up my hormonal pimples. Only need a few drops and it help if your face is wet to spread the product.

THIS PRODUCT! Let me start by saying I have never written a review for any skincare product, but I will sing Skinceuticals' praises from the rooftops. I have been lucky that I never really had an acne phase... until COVID hit and I moved to Colorado. Your face will actually glow once you put the serum on and you can actually see your skin tone even out immediately after you apply it. I don't know what Skinceuticals did when they created this product, but I swear it is the closest thing to magic we have.

New holygrail
I was initially skeptical about trying this product but I'm so glad I did. My skin is usually so congested but this product helped keep my skin looking clear and soft.
