SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne
- 3.5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Citric Acid: these alpha-hydroxy acids work synergistically to smooth skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Not a miracle cure for dark spots. I would use it sparingly and not mix with other tropicals until you know it'll react with your skin type. Seems to be working but it's not overwhelmingly obvious. Time will tell

The first ingredient is denatured alcohol (I don’t know how I missed that!). When you open the bottle, it’s like straight rubbing alcohol. This works super well because of the high amount of alcohol—but at the expense of your skin. You have to weight the payoff against long-term skin health. Not for me. Returned.
