SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne

Blemish control
Few months ago, I started to develop adult acne and I never really struggled with acnes until beginning of this year. It seemed that along with big hormonal changes (as I recently turned 30) and with wrong use of new products has irritated my skin and made break out even more. I purchased SkinCeuticals hoping that it will aid in controlling the development of Blemishes and improve skin texture and pigmentation that was developed by the acnes. So far, it's been about 2 weeks of using the product and I use it every other day during the PM, and spot treat on red acne spots on the nights where I would skip to apply on the whole face. It definitely seems to minimized the developing acne and diminish them when applying the product and with consistent use of this serum, I hope it helps me to regain healthier and acne free skin.
