SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne

Holy Grail for Rosacea
I had perfectly clear skin until I turned 40 and premature menopause began. Hormonal changes triggered severe cystic rosacea, a painful and disfiguring condition that 6 dermatologists were not able to manage. Twenty-four years after it began, my cystic rosacea is successfully managed by using Blemish + Age Defense. As anyone with rosacea knows, it is a chronic (life-long) condition requiring constant vigilance. At age 64, I do not wear any makeup unless I'm going to an event, keep my pores scrupulously clean, and apply Blemish + Age Defense as soon as I see a tiny cyst forming. This is a very good serum for acne outbreaks. I don’t have consistent acne but I do break out periodically. I use it 3 or 4 times a week. It is smooth going on and doesn’t sting or dry out skin.
