SkinCeuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector targets stubborn discoloration with an innovative formula designed to restore skin's natural radiance. Salicylic acid exfoliates the skin to fade existing dark spots and enhances the penetration of other key ingredients. Hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid inhibits melanin production, preventing further hyperpigmentation from occurring. Ellagic acid reduces dark spots and discoloration.
Key Ingredients:
- 0.3% Salicylic Acid: helps eliminate dull, discolored surface cells
- 1% Hydroxyphenoxy Propionic Acid: non-toxic derivative of hydroquinone helps fade the appearance of discoloration and improve uneven skin tone
- 0.5% Ellagic Acid: a naturally occurring polyphenol antioxidant found in the tara plant (caesalpinia spinosa) that has been shown to help improve the look of skin discoloration

OMG! This works!
I have tan, oily Asian skin. I avoid the sun like it's my full-time job and I always have my sunscreens, sunglasses and hat on. Heck, I even have long gloves to wear for driving. Unfortunately, I have developed about 7 sunspots around my left eye and on my nose. I started using the Advanced Pigment Corrector and other SkinCeuticals products about 5 days ago and I can already tell a difference. I also started using the APC on my arms and the back of my neck around the same time because I have keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) and I have seen marked improvements too! I just make too much keratin.

I love this product!
My dermatologist recommended it. I have extremely sensitive skin, this product is so good, I am able to apply it twice a day and never had any issue. It helped me with darks spots for sun damage and acne scaring. Also, no risk of bleaching any fabric while using it (unlike other products I have used).

I have very sensitive skin as I use Tazorac nightly as an anti-aging retinol (Which works incredibly well but must be used with caution). I foolishly decided to have an upper lip wax and the esthetician managed to take off a couple layers of skin along with the hair. I ended up with scarring around my mouth. This product has significantly faded the scars within two weeks. It works and it works fast. SkinCeuticals products are not cheap, but they are definitely worth every dollar.

I used this to help treat skin discoloration after long term use of birth control. I was looking for a skin pigment corrector to attack my stubborn discoloration so I purchase this product based on the reviews. I have been using for 2 weeks and I don't see any change in my skin. It is a little lighter but not what I expected for the price. I am not pleased and will not recommend this product.
