SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System reduces oil production and exfoliates the skin, which improves acne and diminishes the look of wrinkles. Designed to alleviate adult acne, these products also correct the signs of damage resulting from blemishes and aging, such as enlarged pores, rough texture and fine lines.
SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System includes:
- LHA Cleansing Gel (8 fl. oz.): a potent cleanser with LHA, glycolic acid and salicylic acid , it unclogs pores, smooths irregularities and brightens skin.
- LHA Toner (8 fl. oz.): an exfoliating low-pH toner that efficiently removes excess residue and surface cells to decongest pores.
- Blemish and Age Defense (1 fl. oz.): a targeted, oil-free serum that prevents the formation of acne, minimizes blotchiness and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Key Ingredients:
- LHA: a lipo hydroxy acid, LHA exfoliates the skin, decongests clogged pores, refines the skin’s surface, and has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Glycolic Acid: this alpha hydroxy acid eliminates dead skin cell buildup and improves skin hydration.
- Salicylic Acid: this beta hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce acne.

LHA Cleansing Gel: Apply twice daily, gently massage a small amount into wet face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with LHA Solution.
LHA Toner: Apply twice daily after using LHA Cleansing Gel. Spray a small amount onto cotton ball and smooth over face, neck and chest. Follow with LHA Serum.

Takes some time, but it works!
This is a great deal if you're looking for all of these products! My skin can only handle 2 of the 3 products at the same time, or else it becomes very very dry. My current routine: Morning: Gentle cleanser, LHA toner, moisturizer, SPF. Nighttime: LHA Cleansing Gel, essence, Blemish & Age Defense serum. I will for sure be repurchasing the blemish & age defense serum!

My absolute favorite routine
I have very stubborn acne, and after trying almost EVERY product available over the counter, shelled out the big bucks for this. Omg so worth it. Within a week my skin was totally clear. I haven't had a bad breakout since. The only drawback is the packaging. The cleanser is very runny and it's hard to only get a small amount at a time because of the tube it comes in. The toner bottle is also not great, it should be in something like a spray bottle.

RASHES ALL OVER MY FACE
This may be a good product for some people, but it's definitely not for me. After a week of using it, I noticed that my face developed redness, rashes and hyperpigmentation. As much as I want to like it since these are really pricey products, there are just too much acid ingredients that my face cannot handle.

Clears up skin fast
I struggle with adult cystic acne with flare ups when I eat certain foods, and this 3-part system cleared up my problem skin in 2 days. While I still occasionally have flare ups, they are few and far between, and only occur when I eat certain foods (i.e., are avoidable). If you have tried a lot of products that do not work, try this one! Note that you'll need a good moisturizer to pair with this set.

Zero Skin Improvement
I am 32 y.o. with oily, congested skin that seems to be getting worse as I get older. I recently started getting cystic breakouts as well, likely due to having to wear a face mask in 90 degree weather for work for a few weeks. I have been using the products in this kit twice daily for 4-5 weeks and have not seen any improvement in blackhead/skin congestion or with the cystic acne/inflammation. The face wash and toner are OK, the serum seems pointless. I would've given this kit 3 stars as it hasn't made anything worse and might work well for someone with very occasional breakouts and overall good skin. However, given the price I expected more effective products, thus the rating went down to 2 stars.

This is worth the hype
I do endurance sports, and this system has kept up with my active lifestyle. I've had problem skin most of my life. I currently live in a very dry, mountain setting, but I use other products and have not had any issues with the product over drying my skin. After a month of use, I'm seeing smaller pore size, a more radiant glow, blackheads are going away, and other breakouts are less frequent. Because Vitamin C serums are so effective for me, I also purchased the 15% C and 10% AHA serum, which I will use at night.

Holy grail for hormonal acne
I have suffered from hormonal acne my whole life, and recently had a horrible flare up. All three of these products are worth the money, and prevent new whiteheads from appearing. I pair this with Elta MD Am and pm face lotion, and it works great together. Now I am working on fading the scaring around my mouth. Using these products and the retinol 1.0 are helping!
