SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System reduces oil production and exfoliates the skin, which improves acne and diminishes the look of wrinkles. Designed to alleviate adult acne, these products also correct the signs of damage resulting from blemishes and aging, such as enlarged pores, rough texture and fine lines.
SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System includes:
- LHA Cleansing Gel (8 fl. oz.): a potent cleanser with LHA, glycolic acid and salicylic acid , it unclogs pores, smooths irregularities and brightens skin.
- LHA Toner (8 fl. oz.): an exfoliating low-pH toner that efficiently removes excess residue and surface cells to decongest pores.
- Blemish and Age Defense (1 fl. oz.): a targeted, oil-free serum that prevents the formation of acne, minimizes blotchiness and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Key Ingredients:
- LHA: a lipo hydroxy acid, LHA exfoliates the skin, decongests clogged pores, refines the skin’s surface, and has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Glycolic Acid: this alpha hydroxy acid eliminates dead skin cell buildup and improves skin hydration.
- Salicylic Acid: this beta hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce acne.
- Dioic Acid: the naturally derived vegetable acid helps reduce sebum.

LHA Cleansing Gel: Apply twice daily, gently massage a small amount into wet face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with LHA Solution.
LHA Toner: Apply twice daily after using LHA Cleansing Gel. Spray a small amount onto cotton ball and smooth over face, neck and chest. Follow with LHA Serum.
Blemish and Age Defense: Clean the skin thoroughly before applying product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer in the morning and evening. For optimal results, use as part of the Blemish and Age Program, starting with Cleanser and LHA solution.

Overall good product!
Easy to use, and I like having a regimen that I know will work for breakouts. As others have written, the dispensary mechanism isn't great, but I knew that going in, and simply alter my dispersal of the product so that less comes out. I use this when I start to get a breakout and it does seem to actually work (I always use all three products together in sequence) though can be a bit drying. Overall I'm happy with these products!

Serum Less Potent than Skinceuticals
I really like this system. I normally buy direct from Skinceuticals, but they were out of stock so I purchased from Dermstore. I know Dermstore is an authorized retailer, but the serum from Dermstore was noticeably less potent than the ones I've received from Skinceuticals. It normally burns a bit upon application, but this time, I hardly noticed any sensation. I will buy directly from Skinceuticals next time.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST
I could write a huge paragraph about this but I'll keep it short and simple. In my 27 years of struggling with acne on and off I have never seen something that gave me such fast and clear results. Doesn't feel like a bunch of chemicals, I feel refreshed, clean, and firm. I've only been using this for about a week now but it's given me incredibly positive results I'm in awe. It's pricey yeah but it's totally worth the money. This has helped my cystic acne around my chin and jawline area as well as dark acne spots. Again I'd totally recommend. Everyone complained about packaging but I had no issues, not sure if they updated it but I have no issues with it. And I have oily-dry skin at times, but if you use a good moisturizer after you'll be just fine and won't dry out at all.

Not just for those with acne
My skin would feel congested, especially around the time of my period. I was hesitant to try this because some reviewers mentioned that it can be drying. My skin is normally combo, leaning more towards oily, but I would get dry patches on the sides of my nose and on my chin. I'm happy to report that I didn't experience any of that. (I use the triple lipid restore moisturizer, which I purchased at the same time as this). Using the products in this set and that moisturizer, my skin has never looked or felt better! Small bumps are gone, and the occasional hormonal pimple are smaller and goes away faster. The price may seem steep at first, but this should last me about 3 months, so it's not that bad.

Great for Maskne
My acne has been going crazy from wearing a mask during the pandemic. This set has really help calm the acne on my chin area. I especially love the cleanser; it is very cooling when I wash with it. My only issue is the texture is a bit runny so I wish it had different packaging because I always lose some when closing the tube.
