SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System reduces oil production and exfoliates the skin, which improves acne and diminishes the look of wrinkles. Designed to alleviate adult acne, these products also correct the signs of damage resulting from blemishes and aging, such as enlarged pores, rough texture and fine lines.
SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System includes:
- LHA Cleansing Gel (8 fl. oz.): a potent cleanser with LHA, glycolic acid and salicylic acid , it unclogs pores, smooths irregularities and brightens skin.
- LHA Toner (8 fl. oz.): an exfoliating low-pH toner that efficiently removes excess residue and surface cells to decongest pores.
- Blemish and Age Defense (1 fl. oz.): a targeted, oil-free serum that prevents the formation of acne, minimizes blotchiness and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Key Ingredients:
- LHA: a lipo hydroxy acid, LHA exfoliates the skin, decongests clogged pores, refines the skin’s surface, and has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Glycolic Acid: this alpha hydroxy acid eliminates dead skin cell buildup and improves skin hydration.
- Salicylic Acid: this beta hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce acne.
- Dioic Acid: the naturally derived vegetable acid helps reduce sebum.

LHA Cleansing Gel: Apply twice daily, gently massage a small amount into wet face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with LHA Solution.
LHA Toner: Apply twice daily after using LHA Cleansing Gel. Spray a small amount onto cotton ball and smooth over face, neck and chest. Follow with LHA Serum.
Blemish and Age Defense: Clean the skin thoroughly before applying product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer in the morning and evening. For optimal results, use as part of the Blemish and Age Program, starting with Cleanser and LHA solution.

Great Acne System
I started using this last year and I am very pleased with the results. I do not have terrible acne but I do experience the occasional breakout. This product has definitely helped to control my breakouts and I have noticed an overall improvement of my skin.

The Perfect Trifecta!
I am 53, and in all of my adult life, my skin has never been this clear! It's helping to reduce my wrinkles, too. Still getting hormonal acne but I don't use it everyday. I didn't like using it everyday as I felt it was a little too exfoliating. So I use the regimen 3-4 times a week and I like the results.

very good; toner a bit harsh
i was having a lot of hormonal acne on my chin and bought this kit out of desperation. so far so good. it has dramatically reduced number, severity, and duration of cystic acne. the cleanser is fantastic; i use the blemish and age defense just on my chin twice a day, and it's a bit drying but not overly so. i haven't used the toner much, though. it's way too harsh and drying for my whole face, and i definitely don't even need it on my chin much. next time i'll just buy the cleanser and the serum separately.

Effective - need to use sparingly
This is an effective system. I use the serum daily but I have to rotate the cleanser with a more gentler cleanser, and just use the LHA cleanser a few nights a week for a full exfoliation. Also I use the toner as a spot treatment and it sucks any acne dry - even the pesky hormonal cystic spots within a few days. I have experimented and used everything under the sun for my problematic skin (from high end product to PDT, dermatologist visits, and antibiotics), so for me it's worth the cost as the products last for a long time and I've actually seen improvement.

Good but still looking
62 years old and dealing with large pores, cystic acne and aging lines. Liked the feel of the cleanser and definitely the Blemish defense. Proportion of cleanser and toner fell short (for me). Ran out of toner 2 months before using up cleanser. Felt and saw results using Blemish Defense but gets into the see-saw of skin too oily (and have break outs) then use product and dries out skin to point of skin looking flaky. Saw no change in fine lines around mouth and eyes. So recommend with this feedback in mind.

...and I've tried everything. It's worth the price to stop trying a different fad product every week. One thing is the cleanser can be a bit drying so I alternate with the purifying cleanser. I also store the cleanser upside down because product leaks out of the cap.
