SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System reduces oil production and exfoliates the skin, which improves acne and diminishes the look of wrinkles. Designed to alleviate adult acne, these products also correct the signs of damage resulting from blemishes and aging, such as enlarged pores, rough texture and fine lines.
SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System includes:
- LHA Cleansing Gel (8 fl. oz.): a potent cleanser with LHA, glycolic acid and salicylic acid , it unclogs pores, smooths irregularities and brightens skin.
- LHA Toner (8 fl. oz.): an exfoliating low-pH toner that efficiently removes excess residue and surface cells to decongest pores.
- Blemish and Age Defense (1 fl. oz.): a targeted, oil-free serum that prevents the formation of acne, minimizes blotchiness and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Key Ingredients:
- LHA: a lipo hydroxy acid, LHA exfoliates the skin, decongests clogged pores, refines the skin’s surface, and has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Glycolic Acid: this alpha hydroxy acid eliminates dead skin cell buildup and improves skin hydration.
- Salicylic Acid: this beta hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce acne.
- Dioic Acid: the naturally derived vegetable acid helps reduce sebum.

LHA Cleansing Gel: Apply twice daily, gently massage a small amount into wet face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with LHA Solution.
LHA Toner: Apply twice daily after using LHA Cleansing Gel. Spray a small amount onto cotton ball and smooth over face, neck and chest. Follow with LHA Serum.
Blemish and Age Defense: Clean the skin thoroughly before applying product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer in the morning and evening. For optimal results, use as part of the Blemish and Age Program, starting with Cleanser and LHA solution.

This combination is awesome!
I've tried a number of different products for my acne and have really been successful with the adult acne system. The cleansing gel is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. It gets my face super clean and exfoliates is as well. I find that if I don't consistently use the blemish and age defense, I always have significantly more breakouts. It really helps to prevent them before even starting.

Testing in Progress
I have cystic acne on my cheeks and around my mouth and my skin a sensitive, so I've been testing this product to see if it would help me. So far it been working well, but it does dry out my skin a bit but after I tone, apply my serum and moisturizer, it's doesn't bother me .

I have battled adult cystic acne (hormone related) on my chin for a few years. I have tried many, MANY things to clear it up to no avail. I purchased this system and it is literally a miracle. Good Set for Acne
I really like this set as it's much more affordable than purchasing the items separately. I think it works fairly well at managing acne. I especially like the Blemish and Age Defense serum. It stings sometimes for me (sometimes badly), but only for a few minutes. Overall, I'm very happy with this set. I still have breakouts, but this helps keep them under control better than the numerous other brands and products I've tried. The products smell and feel somewhat medicinal, but this doesn't bother me.

A MUST HAVE!!
I was first introduced to SkinCeuticals in January of this year after a Spa service. At that time I bought the LHA Cleansing Gel. I loved it right away. I recently order this Adult Anti-Acne system. I am hooked!! This is a must have for me!! Buying this system is a great deal, it's like getting the LHA Cleansing Gel for free. Not happy with the packaging though. The LHA Solution had a small leak, so when I opened the package about 20% of the product had leaked out and saturated the Day & Night regimen suggestion card. Not to happy about that seeing as this stuff is not cheap. Other two products were fine. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence since I love this product.

The only thing that has worked
I am 28, and over the last few months I have developed a bout of hormonal acne along my jawline. I tried all kinds of natural products to help solve the problem on the outside, and even tried supplements to help cure me from the inside. My diet is healthy - I rarely indulge in processed foods - so I figured this must be a hormonal case that could probably be fixed with added hormones, which I was against. Life changing
I've struggled with acne since I was a teen (I'm turning 37). I've been on everything. What I know about my skin is that it responds well to exfoliation but has a tendency to become over dry. This set is my answer. The acids exfoliate wonderfully. The serum is effective without being overdrying. I do need a moisturizer afterwards. This set has almost eliminated my cystic acne. When I do get a blemish, the turn around time from beginning until healing is much quicker using these products. If you are debating it...do it.
