SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System reduces oil production and exfoliates the skin, which improves acne and diminishes the look of wrinkles. Designed to alleviate adult acne, these products also correct the signs of damage resulting from blemishes and aging, such as enlarged pores, rough texture and fine lines.
SkinCeuticals' Adult Anti-Acne System includes:
- LHA Cleansing Gel (8 fl. oz.): a potent cleanser with LHA, glycolic acid and salicylic acid , it unclogs pores, smooths irregularities and brightens skin.
- LHA Toner (8 fl. oz.): an exfoliating low-pH toner that efficiently removes excess residue and surface cells to decongest pores.
- Blemish and Age Defense (1 fl. oz.): a targeted, oil-free serum that prevents the formation of acne, minimizes blotchiness and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Key Ingredients:
- LHA: a lipo hydroxy acid, LHA exfoliates the skin, decongests clogged pores, refines the skin’s surface, and has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Glycolic Acid: this alpha hydroxy acid eliminates dead skin cell buildup and improves skin hydration.

LHA Cleansing Gel: Apply twice daily, gently massage a small amount into wet face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with LHA Solution.
LHA Toner: Apply twice daily after using LHA Cleansing Gel. Spray a small amount onto cotton ball and smooth over face, neck and chest. Follow with LHA Serum.

My mom raves about this line of products, and I, once again, in my mid-thirties, had a case of acne. She told me I needed to try it and they had an adult acne line. Like others have said, I have tried everything between my teens and now. I was a little turned off by the price but went ahead and splurged as I was desperate and the kit is actually a much better deal than buying each separately. The first day I used this product, I could tell it was different- a good different. I was worried my face was going to peel but it hasn't. Its been two weeks and although I've had a couple more breakouts, it clears them within a day or two. I even had one of those painful cystic pimples and it has helped diminish that in days rather than weeks that it would use to take. So far very pleased. My only complaint as someone else mentioned is the cleanser container- it comes out very fast and can leak so I have to make sure the bottle is propped. It probably would do better in a pump bottle.

BEST VALUE FOR OLDER ACNE SKIN
This package is great for the price you get 3 full size products all of which do work! The cleansing gel is very soft, no scent, and cleans oily skin well. I would recommend removing make up first before using. The LHA gel works well to make sure no residue is left on the skin. I noticed that my skin is much smoother after using the toner. Lastly, the BLEMISH AND AGE DEFENSE WORKS! If you apply it twice a day you will notice the redness of the pimple decreased and the next day it is gone. It is drying in the beginning but a good moisturizer counter acts this effect. My skin looks much smoother after using. The price is expensive, but a little goes along way. Also if you are sensitive to scent. None of the products have a scent which is great for me.

i have been using the skinceuticals adult anti-acne system for approximately one and a half months. i have always had acne since pre-teens and battled it through the years with different types of treatments and many different ways (medications, toothpaste, windex, sulfur masks, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, topical solutions, miracle acne system sets, birth control - you name I have probably done it - with exception of accutane) and now as a (kind of) young adult I have some mild-moderate cystic acne (especially chin and cheeks) AND wrinkles. this has helped quite a bit (although i do get breakouts occ.) - the results i have had i would say are similar to the results image that comes with the treatment. also, the toners i have used in the past felt, for lack of a better word - weak - and kind of pointless, but this toner i can feel working, and my face isn't overly dry (umm, remember - wrinkles?). i do have moisturizers i use in addition - as well as some "anti-aging" products but i have gotten compliments on my face looking clear and smoother - after approx 2 weeks. i hope this review helps!
