A personal favorite
I've actually used the Pitera Essence on and off for many years now, and each time I come back to it, I remember why I loved it so much. My skin is always super soft after use and over time I find that it does help to balance out my skin (lessen oil production and even texture). The essence itself is fragrance-free, but the base smell does come through due to the high Galactomyces filtrate content. The formula is watery so I like to slowly dispense onto my hands and apply that way to no product is wasted. This product is expensive, but your skin is worth investing in so if you have the means, would recommend a try!

Definitely see results with texture and tone. Add extra moisture. Smells like sake. I like it but it's too expensive.

Amazing product
I've been eyeing this product for a while now. But bc it's so expensive, I've been using other essences. I can definitely tell the difference in the last 3 days of using it. It softens my skin, helps my skin texture, and hydrates it. I'm glad I finally tried it and this will be a repurchase for me when I run out of this one.

This product is wow! My skin now feels soooo soft since I have been using for several weeks. I apply right after I wash my face and pat on my face and neck. I use about 3 drops. Its dries super fast.

Caused irritation
I wanted to love this, everybody else seems to, but it didn't work with my skin. It caused my skin to get red and itchy. At first I thought maybe it was a combination of other products, so I troed using it after cleansing by itself and it still caused itchiness. I think unfortunately I'm sensitive to ferments. The other issue I felt with was I couldn't figure out the best way to apply it. Because it has such thin consistency like water, a cotton pad just soaks it up. When I tried putting it in my hands then on my face it felt like it just spread all over my hands. So I literally tipped the bottle over onto my face which just felt weird but at least it went directly on my face.
