Not for hair in need of intense moisture
I've used this oil spray on and off for the past few years--mainly because it's not effective enough to use consistently (for my hair, anyway). It's texture is that of a dry oil, which basically feels like it sits on top of the hair without much penetration of the hair follicle. It doesn't seem to impact my color-treated hair but does make the parts of the hair that are w/o color super greasy. I'd say that it must be because it doesn't seem to absorb well so it sits atop the hair. I prefer their hair masks (the one without the bits in it is lovely and does the job well! It's the yellow jar).

Helps Dry/Damaged Hair
I've ordered this a few times over the years. It's not for hair that needs intensive moisture but it definitely softens hair. The formula's texture feels almost like a dry oil. Keep away from scalp so it doesn't weigh your hair down and make sure to wash out completely. Overall, this is a good product.
