I love a scalp scrub, but this one isn't for me. I had to use much more product than I wanted and was recommended. My scalp felt clean, but not as clean as other scalp scrubs have.

Great for dry scalp
I have a dry scalp and was experiencing itchiness and flaking so I tried this and it worked wonders. Felt awesome massaging into my scalp, formed a nice lather, and rinsed out nicely. My hair was nice and clean and my scalp felt brand new. Definitely recommend!

Not an effective scalp scrub
I found this product too difficult to use properly. I felt that I really couldn't get the scrub close enough to my scalp in order to get any kind of exfoliating effect, my hair would just get in the way and the soak up the product. I'm sure if I took the time to carefully separate my hair and work on sections at a time it may work, but I don't have that kind of patience when in the shower. Might work better for others, but not for me.

Mixed Feelings
The good: this product smells nice enough, was easy enough to rinse out for a scrub, and does leave your scalp feeling cool and fresh. I chose this over others for the salicylic acid, which I hoped would help to prevent occasional hairline break outs from product buildup and less frequent washes (I tend to shampoo about two times a week). The bad: this left my hair with a terrible squeaky clean, almost fragile feeling after the product was fully rinsed out.

Loosens flakes, gets sticky
I really like using scalp scrubs and this one smells amazing. It helps loosen my dandruff flakes a lot but the main ingredient is sugar so it gets really sticky in my hair despite the shampoo thats in it. I do like that they use sugar instead of salt because is drying but the downside is that sugar is sticky.

I love any sort of scalp care product but I've noticed with my longer hair sometimes it's difficult to massage all the way down to the scalp. The product gets caught in my hair and for scrubs that can be less than ideal. It feels like a tangled mess. However... not this! So usability is already a 10, and my scalp was noticeably more moisturizer.
