Tip: For improved results on very dry or damaged hair, dampen hair slightly and leave on overnight.
Apply before shampooing. Dampen the hair with water and apply Elasticizer in sections to mid-lengths and ends, ensuring maximum coverage. Cover hair with a shower cap or towel. The heat created helps the nutrients to be fully absorbed. Leave for a minimum of 10-20 minutes, or as long as you wish. You can even sleep in Elasticizer. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo and condition as normal. You can shampoo twice if you want to ensure all residue is removed. Suitable for use on colored hair. Use at least once a week.
Warning: Do not use Elasticizer 72 hours before or after dying your hair, as it may affect how the color takes during this period only.

Night and day difference in hair texture
Let me start off by saying I have had a fashion color on my hair for years (deep vivid ruby red) and I kept up with it every month, not letting it fade one bit. Come quarantine of 2020, I decided I'd let my hair fade and attempt to be blonde (with high lift color and 30 vol developer) I was avoiding bleach. However after never being able to quite get there on my own, I did go to a salon to get a full head of highlights once the salon was open. And dun dun dun.... damage, breakage, just overall dry and matted hair was sure to follow. While my standard olaplex no3 treatment did help, I needed something with a thicker, richer, more conditioning formula. This was the game changer. I would spray my hair with water and take about an egg sized amount (I have very long hair) of the philip Kingsley elastiizer, run through, (attempt to) brush with a large tooth comb, pull together in a low bun and go about my day and let the product sit on my hair for as long as possible. Results were detangled, soft, manageable hair and a sealed cuticle upon rinsing. One tub lasted me quite a while and I no longer really need to use it. 100% worth the money in my opinion.

I bet this is good for other people. I have cosmetologist degree over 20 yr, never heard of this till i saw it on dermstore. I have mixed texture. some very fine and frizzy. Been doing good with olaplex, but my hair and skin tends to be dehydrated and that leads to broken ends when using irons or just air drying. This did feel good on my hair, but not any better then a hot oil treatment with plain black castor oil. I also have hydrating treatment for 1/2 price from professional beauty supply that makes my hair feel 10x better than this product. I don't want to knock it, i'm sure it will help some, just not me.

Agree w/other reviews-Results After One Use
I will call myself a self proclaimed hair repair connoisseur, as over the past year I have spent over $1k on all types of hair products to restore my hair I burnt off while on vacation in the tropics. I have always used hot tools and never ever ever had this happen to me. Of the things I have tried I wish I had tried it sooner! I wash my hair and let air dry/damp and apply. I then try to leave on as long as possible (2hrs+) and then shampoo out again, and then apply hair mask. (I have been working from home since march and will until the rest of the year, so I am able to leave in longer.)

I'm sick and can't afford much, but treated myself to this bc I have so many illnesses, my hair falls out, now I see how much you charge for this when other places are so much cheaper. I feel sick to my stomach.

I've tried everything to get my naturally black but now bleached blonde hair soft and hydrated and this finally worked! My hair felt soft smooth and slippery when wet and very manageable when dry. Great Hydrating And Volumizing Hair Conditioner!
I have a wavy, coarse but limp hair. I have used this Elasticizer as my once-a-week pre-shampoo treatment and gives my hair body & bounce. But when you have no time for a long minutes hair treatment, I use it as a regular hair conditioner. Leave it as long as it takes while showering. But later on, I found a way to mix half & half this Elasticizer & Oribe Gold Lust Conditioner and use it with my every other day shampoo routine. It worked as well! :) My hair is hydrated with body & bounce & waves are more tamed!
