Gentle for sensitive skin with occasional breakouts. During the winter months, I don't use it every day solely because my skin is extremely dry. Makes your skin soft, smooth, and has a great smell. Only need to use minimal amount because it's concentrated so you definitely get your money's worth.

Smells like bandaids!
If you are looking for a microfoliant, this is not for you. The granules are large and do not thoroughly cleanse skin. Additionally, the initial smell of the cleanser is okay, but as you start working it across your skin, it develops a smell that I can only compare to Bandaids - yuck!

I have been using this for over 2 months now and love it. I needed an exfoliator I could use 3-4x/week, and this gets the job done without being too harsh. The scent isn't my favorite, but it's not a big deal to me. I also use it on back, and it really has helped keep my back fee of breakouts.

not for the supersensitives
I have super crazy sensitive skin. The only benefit of having highly reactive skin is that you know pretty quickly if a product is going to give you problems or not. I really LOVE the Pevonia Mild Exfoliant cleanser, and made the mistake of thinking more/stronger must be betterâ€"so I bought this one. I used it for four days, over the course of which it made my skin red and angry lookingâ€"both dryer and more "shiny" looking, emphasizing my pores and tiny bumps. If you have less sensitive skin, this might be a great product. Generally speaking, I think Pevonia makes truly amazing stuffâ€"I don't know of anything like it. But if you have reactive, sensitive, red-inclined skin, you might want to stay away from this one.

Like it all but the smell!
Trying Pevonia for the first time was interesting. I like this product, but I feel it's a little drying for my skin, so I may need to reduce the usage to three or four times per week instead of daily. The granules are very gentle, I don't think that's the culprit. My only upset was the SMELL, what is that? It smells like it's medicated? Is that true? How can a natural product smell like chemicals? I expect natural products to have a smell (as nothing in nature is odorless), but I expect to smell herbs, plants, fruits, vegetables... not whatever this it. I do not like this smell at all and it lingers.
