Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud extracts all the dirt, impurities and excess oil from your skin and replaces them with nutrient-rich moisture and vitamins. The star ingredient, 9,000-year-old Moor mud from the Irish countryside, reverses the damage of environmental stress and pollutants with its blend of organic minerals and antioxidants.
Volcanic ash detoxifies pores and shrinks their appearance while black hijiki seaweed hydrates your skin. Charcoal acts like a magnet, drawing out toxins to clarify your complexion. Your skin is left softer, smoother and radiantly brighter after each use.
Using fingertips, apply evenly on clean skin. Leave on for up to 10 minutes. Remove with a warm, damp washcloth and rinse skin thoroughly of any remaining residue. Use 2-3 times a week, or as desired. For external use only.

Tiny size!
My March beautyfix contained the .5 oz version of the mask ($12 value). The jar is really tiny. We were supposed to get the full size mask. Though Dermstore offered a $25 credit to subscribers, I'm bummed I can't use it on April's box. Rated high for texture/scent, but the tiny sample jar made application a total pain! I'm sure the full size is better!

I love this mask!
This mask is great for people with clogged pores. Every time I use it my face appears clearer and less congested. I usually wear for an extended amount of time bc it doesn't dehydrate my skin.

great mask for acne prone skin
I've tried a lot of masks for acne prone skin and most of them make my skin extremely sensitive dry and prone to peeling. This one is great because it feels very moisturizing and if I use it the night of a breakout I do find that the next day the red spots are much calmer and have shrunk in size. That said, I'm not certain this is quite as effective as other masks I've used and will probably purchase this sparingly as it is quite expensive.

Wish it were as amazing as it claims
Over $50 for a mask is pretty expensive, so I expected this to be a miracle worker. Sadly, it wasn't, at least for me. It's a nice enough mask, but I'm not positive I see any differences, and I've been using it once a week for about a year. That said, if you stick to a once-a-week schedule, the mask does last a long time!

Omg-this mask is awesome! I actually had my eye on Ogra Skincare's peat face and body mask..but I didn't order it yet. When I saw that PTR had this new Irish Moor Mud mask-I had to have it! It's fun to use-I just rcv'd it and used it yesterday. I had it on the full 10 minutes..I did feel the warmth..but it didn't burn. When I removed the mask-my face was pink for about a 1/2 hour..but then I was back to normal..and my face was happy :). I'm loving this mask..i'm gonna share it with hubby-I know he'll enjoy it too!
