Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud extracts all the dirt, impurities and excess oil from your skin and replaces them with nutrient-rich moisture and vitamins. The star ingredient, 9,000-year-old Moor mud from the Irish countryside, reverses the damage of environmental stress and pollutants with its blend of organic minerals and antioxidants.
Volcanic ash detoxifies pores and shrinks their appearance while black hijiki seaweed hydrates your skin. Charcoal acts like a magnet, drawing out toxins to clarify your complexion. Your skin is left softer, smoother and radiantly brighter after each use.
Using fingertips, apply evenly on clean skin. Leave on for up to 10 minutes. Remove with a warm, damp washcloth and rinse skin thoroughly of any remaining residue. Use 2-3 times a week, or as desired. For external use only.

Excellent charcoal mask
This PTR mask is a very close runner up to my favorite, the pumpkin enzyme mask. This feels so cool and soothing when you apply it, and my face definitely looked and felt cleaner and better after using. I haven't purchased the big tub yet, but I definitely plan to!

Really Decongests Without Drying
I used this for the first time a few years ago and it made me breakout - so I stuck with PTR's Therapeutic Sulfur Mask. Now that my skin is dryer - I've found the sulfur mask too drying. I returned to the Irish Moor Mud. Again my face broke out the first time I used it, but I've used it a few times now and I haven't had any issue. I think the mask just brought things to the surface that were lodged down in my pores. My face seems clearer, smoother, calmer, and less congested. The scent is much better than the sulfur mask (it seems unscented). It is messy to apply, but I bought a cheap foundation brush to put it on and I have a designated washcloth to take it off.

it's weird
I did not like this mask. I ithink it's overrated. I thought it was a mud mask but it''s a weird gel like consistancy. It did not have a tighening effect which i usually like on mask

Refreshing Mask
I received this in my beauty box and have used multiple times. Mainly used after accidentally wearing make up bed, being out in the sun for long period of time or after a long night of over celebrating ;). The description is very accurate, its left my skin feeling refreshed and detoxed. Its not a miracle mask but its good for the basics. Also didn't cause any drying or breakouts, its a solid clarifying mask. I would buy the full size.

Great Hydrating Mask
So, this is a mud mask but it is really hydrating! The mask never dries down completely (by design) and my skin is left feeling cleansed yet hydrated. Pores appear much smaller too!

Perfect for my teenager's skin!
I don't have oily skin but this mask did wonders on my teen daughter's combo/acne prone face and wow! It helped clear her up and didn't dry her out or cause any irritation. She loved the smell and texture and I'm so happy we found something that will help keep her skin clear and healthy!
