This lightweight formula is infused with caffeine to combat free radical damage and bisabolol to calm and soothe the skin. SPF 45 helps absorb and filter UVB rays keeping your skin protected during sun exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- Octisalate and Octocrylene: absorb and filter UVB rays
- Caffeine: a powerful antioxidant that is capable of reducing several UV-induced free radicals
- Bisabolol: found in chamomile, it calms and soothes the skin while attracting and retaining moisture

Good, Protective SPF!
I am really liking this so far. I use it right after my cleansing gel and serum in the morning. It is somewhat thick but if you rub it in well, there isn't much of a white cast. I have no problem with oiliness when I put on makeup after and no white cast seeps through. I would recommend the 45 over the 30 just for that extra protection.

Thick and leaves white cast
I had been using PCA's broad spectrum SPF 30 for years and years. I decided to try the SPF 45 - and it's much thicker and definitely leaves a white cast. If you're considering using this as a daily product, I suggest PCA's SPF 45 with sheer tint (I have that as well) so that you don't get the white cast.
